AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. That paragraph 19 of Article II of Chapter 13
of the Municipal Code of the City of McHenry be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
FEES„ Commencing with the license year 1977 the
license fee for each motor vehicle to be paid
annually to the City Clerk shall be as follows:
Passenger vehicles for private use and
trucks of less than one ton capacity $6.00
Freight or merchandise carrying vehicles
One to two ton capacity 12.50
Over two ton capacity 15.00
Motorcycles 4.00
Public passenger vehicles with capacity
of over seven persons 20.00
Public passenger vehicles having capacity
of seven persons or less 17.00
Automobile dealer (for the first 5
vehicles) 30.00
Automobile dealer (for each vehicle in
excess of 5 vehicles) 6.00
School buses of all sizes and capacity 10.00
Trailer (limited to those requiring a
license under the Illinois Revised
Statutes) 3.00
SECTION 2. All ordinances in conflict with the provisions
hereof, are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed
effective at the commencement of the 1977 license year.
