AN ORDINANCE G'� ��
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY Or MCHENRY,
ILLINOIS, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 12, Article XVII, Section 84, is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following paragraphs.-
h. That the applicant, or the person in direct
charge of conducting the solicitation,`person-
ally appeared before the City Council in sup-
port of the pending application.
i. That where the solicitation is to be conducted
in the business areas of the City, it will be
conducted by -persons who are over the age of
18 years.
j. That where the solicitation is to be conducted
in the business areas of the City, it will be
conducted solely for the benefit of a civic or
service organization or purpose.
k. That where the solicitation is to be conducted in
the business areas of the City, -no other solicita-
tion permit has been issued or authorized for the
business areas for the same month as that request-
ed by the applicant.,
SECTION 2. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict
with the provisions of Section 1 hereof be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such.conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication as by law
provided.
