HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - MC-74-78.A - 09/30/1974 - est 25 mph speed limitsMC-74-78.A AN ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, MC HENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows: Section 1. That Article VIII, Section 78 of the Motor Vehicle and Traffic Regulation Ordinance of the City of McHenry, being Ordinance Number MC-48, is hereby amended by amending paragraph (c) of said Section so that it will read as follows: (c) Other Districts. The maximum speed limit is hereby established at twenty-five (25) miles per hour in all other areas within the City limits, except that on Green Street from the City limits on the South to Anne Street the maximum speed limit is hereby established at thirty (30) miles per hour. Section 2. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the provisions hereof are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from an after its passage, approval and publication as by law required. PASSED this AYES: PQ1,c-6-1111 30th day of September, 1974.
