AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY,
ILLINOIS, as follows:

Section 1. Article IV, Section 51 of Ordinance MC-48, an Ordi-
nance Regulating Traffic and Motor Vehicles, be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
51. Parking Violations. Any person accused of a
violation of this Article may pay the claim against him
for such illegal parking by paying to, the City the sum
set forth opposite the violation with which he has been
charged, as follows:
1. Overparked, Parking Meter (If paid within
48 hours after Notice issued) $ .50
2. Overparked, (One) (Two) Hour Zone $2.00
3. Double Parked $2.00
4. Bus Stop or Loading Zone $2.00
5. Parked at Fire Plug $2.00
6. Blocking Driveway $2.00
7. Parked in Violation of Sign or Zone $2.00
8. Improper Parking $2.00
9. Parked, 2:00 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. $2.00
10. All Others $2.00
If the aforesaid Parking Meter violation is paid
after the aforesaid 48 hours but within 5 days after said
notice was issued, the offender may settle the claim against
him by paying the City the sum of $3.00.
Notice of said violation shall be given to offenders
under this Article by placing a violation ticket under the
windshield wiper of the offending vehicle, or by personally
handing the violation ticket to the operator of the vehicle,
or by affixing it to the door handle of the vehicle.
Section 2. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with
the provisions of this amendment be and the same are hereby re-
pealed to the extent of such conflict.
