AN ORDINANCE M C- 7 .' -& 00
BE IT ORDANIED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 59 of Article V, Chapter 11, of "The
Municipal Code of the City of McHenry of 1961" be and it is
hereby amended in its entirety so that hence forth it will read
as follows:
Na) No licensee nor any officer, associate, member,
representative, agent or employee of such licensee
shall sell, give or deliver alcoholic liquor to any
person under the age of 21 years, except as provided
in subsection (b) of this Section. No person after
purchasing or otherwise obtaining alcoholic liquor,
shall sell, give or deliver such alcoholic liquor to
another person under the age of 21 years except in the
performance of a religious ceremony or service except
as provided in subsection (b) of this Section.
"(b) Subsection (a) of this Section does not apply to
the sale, gift or delivery of beer and wine to persons
under the age of 21 but at least 19 years of age. "
Section 2: All ordinances in conflict with this ordinance be
and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication as by law
provided.
