AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12
ARTICLE VIII SECTION 45 PROHIBITION
BE IT ORDAINED By the Mayor and the City Council of the
City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois as follows:
Section 1. That Chapter 12, Miscellaneous Provisions,
of Article VII.I, Offenses against the Public Peace, Section 45,
Prohibition, be and hereby is amended by adding Section f,
which shall read as follows:
f. Penalties. Any person who violates any of
the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof, shall be fined not to exceed $500.00.
Section 2..
Conflicting Ordinance. All ordinances and
parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, to the extent of
such conflict are hereby repealed.
Section 3. Validity. If any part or parts of this
ordinance shall be held invalid for any reason whatsoever,
such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining
part or parts of this ordinance.
Section 4. When effective. This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage as required
by law.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be known as Ordinance
No C 61
