AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE V
OF CHAPTER 11 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY
WHEREAS, the Mayor, as Liquor Control Commissioner, by
and with the advice and consent of the members of the City Council, in
their individual capacities as assistant liquor control commissioners,
has determined there is a need for a restrictive liquor license, which
will permit the serving of alcoholic beverages to tables only, and which
license shall not permit the establishment of a bar, other than a small
service bar for use in preparation of the beverages, and which will not
permit the retail sale for consumption of alcoholic beverages off the
premises;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council
of the City of McHenry that Paragraph 44 r of Article V of Chapter 11,
be and hereby is amended by adding thereto the following:
44. (G), CLASS G LICENSE - which shall authorize
the retail sale of alcoholic and malt liquors on the
premises only, provided, however, that all consumption
of alcoholic and malt beverages shall be at tables,
and no bar sales shall be permitted. A small service
bar may -be utilized in connection with such table ser-
vice. No more than one (1) Class G License shall be
enforced in the City at any time. The annual fee for
such license shall be $400. 00.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption, approval and publication, as by law provided.
