AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry, j
Illinois, that
Paragraph 19, Article III, of Chapter 15 of the Municipal
Code of the City of McHenry, Illinois,
be and hereby is amended by adding thereto the following:
Municipal water service may be made available to
persons outside the corporate limits, but only at the
discretion of the Council as secured by three -fourths
vote of said Council favoring the service extension.
In the event such service shall be furnished, the
charges therefor shall be one and one-half times
above all of the charges established in this paragraph
for service within the corporate limits. Further, all
costs of said extension, from the existing main to the
service lead, shall be at the sole expense of the user
and shall be subject to approval for such installation
as is otherwise herein provided.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after
its passage and publication as by statute provided.
