Home My WebLink AboutOrdinances - MC-65-17.A - 09/07/1965 - AMEND WARD REDISTRICTINGLOOZE Ac KINNE ATl XYS 3431 V 'STREET WHENI LLINOIS MC-17(a) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE MC-16(a) ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE MG-16 ENTITLED TAN ORDINANCE REDISTRICTING THE CITY OF McHENRY BY WARDS' AS ADOPTED AND PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY ON THE 2ND DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1964" WHEREAS, the City of McHenry, by proper ordinance, did effect the annexation of certain territory described as follows: Lots I through 10 inclusive in Block 1, Lots 1 through 10 inclusive in Block 2 and all of Block 3 in Hanley's 3rd Addition to West McHenry, being a Subdivision of part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 34 and part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 45 North,, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded January 22, 1913 as Document No. 24295 in Book 3 of Plats at page 44, McHenry County, Illinois, said annexation being effected on the 16th day of August, 1965, and WHEREAS, a certified copy of the said ordinance of annexation, together with a true and accurate map of the territory annexed, has been recorded in the Recorder's Office of the County of McHenry, as by statute provided, on the 20th day of August, 1965, as Document: No. 447671, and WHEREAS, the Council does find that said territory is surrounded by the Fourth Ward of the said City of McHenry, as said Ward is estab-- 1 lished and defined in Municipal Ordinance MC-16(a) referred to above. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry that the territory annexed as set forth hereinabove shall be a part of the Fourth Ward and that the Ward Map of the City of McHenry shall be redrawn to indicate such inclusion. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and passage, as by statute provided. Dated this 7th day of September, 1965.
