ORDINANCE
CONCERNING PARALLEL PARKING
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
McHenry, County of McHenry and State of Illinois, that Article IV of
of the Municipal Code of the City of McHenry,
Chapter 13,/be and hereby is amended to include the following:
41. a - It shall be illegal to park in any other
manner except parallel to the right-of-way line of
Illinois State Route 120 (Elm Street) from its inter-
section with Illinois State Route 31 on the West, to
its intersection with the right-of-way of the Chicago
and Northwestern Railroad, and it shall be illegal
to park in any other manner than parallel along Illinois
Route 31 (Front Street) from its intersection with
Illinois State Route 120 (Elm Street) Southerly to the
intersection with the North line of John Street.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after ten (10)
days following its passage and publication, as is by law required.
Passed this 20th day of April, A. D. 1964.
