HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - MC-11-1038 - 10/03/2011 - AMEND BLDG CODE INCREASE NON RESIDENTIAL MINOR PERORDINANCE NO MC-11-1038 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY CHAPTER 7, BUI:LDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS, ARTICLE ONE SECTION THREE, PERMIT FEES ESTABLISHED, PENALTY FEE WHEREAS, the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, is a home rule municipality as contemplated under Article V1I, Section 6, of the Constitution of the State of Illinois, and the passage of this Ordinance constitutes an exercise of the City's home rule powers and functions as granted in the Constitution of the State of Illinois. NOW THEREFORE, BE 1T ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry County as follows: SECTION 1: That Section 7-3 "Permit Fees Established, Penalty Fee" of the City of McHenry Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by updating the table of fees with the new non- residential minor permit fees and instituting the non-residential plan review fee and temporary occupancy permit fee as follows: Permit Type Fee Air Conditioning, Central _ $75 Antenna/Sate]lite Dish _ $60 Awning/Canopy _ $45 Deck $65 _ Demolition $200 Driveway _ $45 Electric Install/Upgrade _ $110 Elevator $120 _ Fence $35 Fire Protection/Sprinkler $200 Furnace (New unit only) $75 Gazebo $65 Incinerator/Crematory $50 Irrigation/Lawn Sprinkler $60 Parkin Lot $45 Raising/Shoring $200 Re -inspection Fees: _ Plumbing $43 All Other $37.50 Reroof $75 Sewer/Water Repair $75 Siding $50 _ Si Non -Illuminated $50 Illuminated $55 Temporary $60 w/Deposit Window/Door Replacement $50 Temporary Certificate of Occu anry $100 Certificate of Occupancy $0 Plan Review Fee for New Construetion/Addition/Alteration $0/$50/$200 SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form (which publication is hereby authorized) as provided by law.
