AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 17 SECTION 17-2
SUBDIVISION CONTROL AND DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE, SECTION 2.2
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois as
follows:
SECTION 1_ That Section 2.2 of the City of McHenry Subdivision Control and Development
Ordinance entitled "Words and Terms Defined" is hereby amended such that provisions CC and KK are
hereby deleted in their entirety and replaced with the following:
"CC. Resubdivision. The further division of lots or relocation of lot lines of any lot or lots
within a subdivision previously made and approved or recorded according to law, not including those
exceptions set forth in the Plat Act.
KK. Subdivision. The partitioning or dividing of a parcel or tract of land which creates two
or more parcels of ]land any of which is less than five acres in area, not including those exceptions set
forth in the Plat Act".
SECTION 2_ This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
