An Ordinance Amending Chapter 17 Article U Storm Water Management
of the City of McHenry Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
McHenry, McHenry County, in the State of Illinois, that the McHenry Municipal Code be amended as
follows:
SECTION 1: City of McHenry Municipal Code Chapter 17 Planning and Zoning, Article
II, Storm Water Management, is hereby amended by deleting Section 17-25 Storm Water
Management, in its entirety and replacing it as follows:
Sec. 17-25. Storm Water Management.
The City of 'McHenry hereby adopts and authorizes enforcement of the McHenry County
Stormwater Management Ordinance as approved by the McHenry County Board on January 20, 2004,
amended in 2008 and amended or revised by subsequent ordinances from time to time thereafter.
Nothing contained in this Municipal Code shall be construed to amend, alter or otherwise affect the
provisions of said McHenry County Storm Water Management Ordinance.
SECTION 2. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the terms and provisions hereof,
be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under the authority of
the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 4,. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publical ion, as provided by law.
