AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS
OF CHAPTER 13, TRAFFIC AND MOTOR VEHICLES,
OF THE CITY OF MWENRY MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1: That Section 13-610 NO PARKING 8:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M. ON SCHOOL DAYS
in the City of McHenry Municipal Code shall be amended by deleting the following:
6. RESERVED.
SECTION 2: That Section 13-610 NO PARKING 8:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M. ON SCHOOL DAYS
in the City of McHenry Municipal Code shall be amended by adding the following:
6. Kane Avenue on the north side from Green Street to a point 320 feet west of its intersection
with Green Street
SECTION 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this ordinance shall be fined
not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) for each offense
committed on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 4: All ordinances, or parts thereof; in conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and
the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under the authority of the
corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 6: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
PASSED and APPROVED this 7TH day of NOVEMBER , 2005.
