AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS
OF CHAPTER 13, TRAFFIC AND MOTOR VEHICLES,
OF THE CRY OF McHENRY MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1: That Section 13-608 NO PARKING AT ANY TIME shall be amended be
deleting the following:
12. KANE AVE along the North side from Green St to Center St.
SECTION 2: That Section 13-610(a) be created as follows:
NO PARKING ON FRIDAYS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:00 P.M. AND 12:00 A.M.
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any motor vehicle to park such vehicle between the hours
of 4:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. on Fridays in any of the following locations:
1. KANE AVE along the north side from a point 320 feet west of Green St to a point
230 feet east of Center St
SECTION 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating any, provision of this ordinance
shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars
($750.00) for each offense committed on each day during, or on which, a violation occurs or
continues.
SECTION 4: All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the terms and provisions
hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under the
authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 6: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
