An Ordinance Amending City of McHenry Municipal Code
Chapter 2, Article III, City Council
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCHENRY,
MCHENRY COUNTY, as follows:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 2, Section 2-37.1 Compensation of the City of
McHenry Municipal Code, shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced as follows:
Section 2-37.1 Compensation
Effective May 1, 2001, each Alderman elected in the: April 2001 Consolidated
Election or any Consolidated Election thereafter, shall be compensated the sum of
Seventy -Five Dollars ($75.00) for each regular meeting and special meeting attended, as
well as for attendance at any committee meeting to which they have been formally
appointed
SECTION 2: If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, sentence or provision
of this ordinance shall be adjudged by any Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
such judgment shall not affect, impair, invalidate or nullify the remainder thereof, which
remainder shall remain and continue in full force and effect.
Section 3: All ordinances or parts thereof in conflict are hereby repealed to the
extend of such conflict.
Section 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage,
approval and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
Voting Aye: BOLGER, GLAB, MCCLATCHEY, MURGATROYD, BAIRD.
Voting Nay: NONE -
Not Voting: NONE.
Abstaining: NONE.
Absent: NONE.
