AN ORDINANCE FOR THE LEVY OF TAXES
FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR
Whereas, the City Council of the City of McHenry, County of McHenry,
and State of Illinois, did on the 19th day of July A.D., 1971, pass the
Annual Appropriation for said City for the fiscal year beginning May 1,
1971, the amount of which is ascertained to be the aggregate sum of One
Million Five Hundred Fifty -Nine Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($1,559,000.00),
which said Appropriation Bill was duly published on the 23rd day of July
A.D., 1971. Now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry
County, Illinois, that there be and is hereby levied upon all taxable
property within the corporate limits of said City for the year 1971, the
total sum of Two Hundred Sixty -Six Thousand and No/ 100 Dollars ($266,000.00)
for the following specific purposes mentioned in said Appropriation Bill
and in the respective sums as follows, to wit:

The City Clerk of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, is hereby
directed to file with the County Clerk of McHenry County a duly certified copy
of this Ordinance.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage and
approval as is required by law. Passed by the City Council of the City of
McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois and approved by me this 16th day of
August, 1971.
