HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - 0-67-36.A - 11/06/1967 - AMEND NON-CONFORMING USESLOOZE AND KINNE ATTORNEYS AT LAW • 3430 WEST ELM STREET M4MENRY, ILLINOIS sooso L ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of McHenry that the Zoning Ordinance of the said City of McHenry, as comprehensively amended on the 12th day of March, 1962, and as sub- sequently amended, be and hereby is amended by adding to "Article XX - Non -Conforming Uses", the following paragraph: Not withstanding the provisions herein in regard to construction, repair and alteration, it shall be per- mitted to construct, alter and repair upon premises zoned other than "residential", but residential in use prior to the adoption of the comprehensive amendment of the Zoning Ordinance of McHenry on the 12th day of March, 1962, unattached garages or accessory buildings. Such structure shall, how- ever, in all other ways comply with pertinent Zoning Ordinance and Building Code regulations. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its approval, passage and publication, as by Statute provided. Passed and approved this 6th day of November, 1967.
