Whereas the City Council of the City of McHenry, in the County of
McHenry and State of Illinois, did on the 6th day of July, A. D. 1943, pass
the Annual Appropriation for said City for the fiscal year beginning May 1st,
1943, the amount of which is ascertained to be the aggregate sum of Seventy
One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty -.One ($71,751.00) Dollars, which said Appro-
priation Bill was duly published on the 15th day of July, A. D. 1943, now
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry
County, Illinois, that there be and is hereby levied upon all taxable property
within the corporate limits of said City for the year 1943, the total sum of
Fifteen Thousand Four Hundred Thirty -sax ($159436.00) Dollars for the follow-
ing specific purposes mentioned in said Appropriation Bill and in the respective
sums as follows, to -wit
