MONDAY, DECEMBER 10, 1984 7:30 P.M.
The Regular Meeting of the McHenry City Council was called to Council Mtgs.
order on Monday, December 10, 1984 at 7:30 P.M. At roll call the Attendance
following Aldermen were present: Bolger, Busse, Datz, McClatchey, Nolan,
Smith, Snell, Serritella. Absent: None. City staff in attendance were
Supt. Halvensleben, Attorney Narusis, Clerk Gilpin, Absent: Park
Director Merkel, Chief Joyce.
Motion by McClatchey, seconded by Datz, to accept the minutes of
the November 29, 1984 Special Meeting and the December 3, 1984 Regular
Meeting as presented.
Voting Aye: Bolger, Busse, Datz, McClatchey, Nolan,
Smith, Snell, Serritella.
Voting Nay: None.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.
Motion by McClatchey, seconded by Datz, to call Residential
Letters of
Development Groups Set -a -Side letter for $2,000.00 on Whispering Oaks
Credit
Center Office Condo Project from Continental Bank of Chicago.
Voting Aye: Bolger, Busse, Datz, McClatchey, Nolan,
Smith, Snell, Serritella.
Voting Nay: None.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.
Ordinances
Motion by Snell, seconded by Busse, to pass an ordinance
Speed Limits
establishing a 45 mph speed limit on Bull Valley Road from Lawrence
Avenue to Route 31.

Smith, Snell, Serritella.
Voting Nay: None.

Motion carried.
Ordinances
Motion by Smith, seconded by Snell, to pass an ordinance
establishing one-way traffic on the roadway between St. Regis Pub and
Traff. Regs.

Mayor Stanek read a letter of resignation from Tony
Police Comm.
Pintozzi who serves on the Police Commission Board. His resignation

will be effective when Mayor Stanek appoints a suitable replacement
for his position on the Board.
Mayor Stanek announced that a liquor license was being

issued to new owners of McHenry Drug Store on Riverside Drive.
Motion by Datz, seconded by Serritella, to authorize the Purch.Water
installation of a valve at the Lakeland Park Water Tower at a cost of Dept.
$1,850.00 with the work to be done by Gluth Bros. of Woodstock.

Sidewalk
MFT
Motion by Snell, seconded by Nolan, to authorize and approve
payment of $16,786.43 to the Illinois Department of Transportation
for the City's share of the FAU Sidewalk Program with the money to be
paid from the MFT Fund.
Voting Aye: Bolger, Busse, Datz, McClatchey, Nolan,
Smith, Snell, Serritella.
Voting Nay: None.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.
Dater Dept. Motion by Snell, seconded by Datz, to authorize and approve
[mprvts. the payment of $18,394.00 to Seagren Shales Inc. as Partial Payment
Request No. 3 for the Well House and Feeder Water Main addition for
Well No. 7 as recommended by Baxter & Woodman
