A Public Hearing to consider the proposed annexation agreement of Frank Gradishar was called to order by Mayor Stanek on Wednesday, September 29, 1982 at 7:30 P.M. in City Hall. At roll call the follow- ing aldermen were present: Pepping, Nolan, Datz, Wieser, Smith, Serritella. Absent: Meurer. Cit pe s nyel in attendance were Supt. Halvensleben, Attorney Narusis and �lerC �i pin. The only person in the audience was Mrs. Frank Gradishar, No objectors were present. Gradishar presented a Certificate of Publication evidencing that the required legal notice of the public hearing was published in the McHenry Plaindealer on September 10, 1982. Mayor Stanek accepted the Certificate which was entered into the records. Gradishar agreed to pay an annexation fee of $1,000 per acre for his 4 acres of land of Rte. 31 which is located 2 block south of Bull Valley Road. Gradishar previously submitted a letter asking the city to issue 42 million dollars Industrial Revenue Bonds for construction of his proposed 3 story professional office building. He explained that his revised request would probably be lower since he plans to develop the property in two phases. A paragraph by paragraph review of the annexation agreement was made resulting in several revisions and additions. Gradishar and Attorney Narusis will work on the revised agreement and present it at a future regular meeting. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Nolan, to approve the Gradishar annexation agreement as amended. Voting Aye: Pepping, Nolan, Datz, ieser, Smith, Serritella. Voting Nay: None. Absent: Meurer. Motion carried. Smith, Chairman of the Building & Zoning Committee made a state- ment that his committee had met and discussed the manner in which building inspections on the new hospital should be con ucted and by whom. A letter by Attorney Narusis proposing a solution to the problem was presented for Committee consideration. Smith announced that at the October 4, 1982 Regular Meeting he intended to make a motion to authorize and approve mailing the letter as drafted by Narusis to McHenry Hospital which out- lined a proposal to relieve the city of any o ligations to make building inspections on the hospital building. Smith wanted his statement on the records to show that this action was not bein done without the knowledge of the entire Council. Motion by Wieser, seconded by Smith to adjourn. Voting Aye: Pepping, Nolan, Datz, ieser, Smith, Serritella. Voting Nay: None. Absent: Meurer. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:10 P.M.
