WEDNESDAY, JULY 31, 1991 7:30 P.M
A Committee Meeting of the Whole was called to order by Mayor Busse
on Wednesday, July 31, 1991, at 7:30 p.m, at City Hall. The following
Aldermen were present: Bolger, Donahue, Serritella. Smith arrived at
7:35 p.m. Patterson arrived at 7:40 p.m. Locke arrived at 7:45 p.m.
Absent: Adams, Lieder. Also in attendance were City Administrator
Peterson, Assistant to City Clerk Marth, Attorney Narusis, Jeff Sronkoski
of Legat Architects and Jerry Lusinski of Sound, Inc., an expert in
audio/visual equipment.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the plans and specifications
for bidding on the Courtroom and Council Chambers audio/visual systems.
Mr. Jerry Lusinski of Sound, Inc., gave a presentation on the sound
reinforcement equipment containing three different types of automatic
microphones, the speaker configeration in two zones for the Courtroom and
Council Chambers and the sound equipment cabinet containing all the
electronics and amplification equipment. He also reviewed the screens,
monitors and VHS player along with the overhead video projector that
contained high resolution, multi -scan projectors. The projectors had the
capabilities of computer input and graphics.
Lusinski stated that installation would take approximately 35 to 40
working days and the equipment would came in around the budgeted amount
of $50,000.
Most of the Aldermen felt that the bidding should be based on various
alternates for the video taping system and microphones.
The Mayor adjourned the Committee Meeting of the Whole at 8:00 P.M.
