Mayor Stanek called to order the Public Hearing on the proposed Appropriation Ordinance for Fiscal Year 1980-81 at 7:45 P.M. Monday, July 7, 1980. At roll call the following aldermen were present: Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Adams, Schooley. Absent: Pepping, Meurer. Also present were Clerk Gilpin, Supt. Meyer, Attorney Narusis. Notice was published in the McHenry Plaindealer on June 25, 1980 noti- fying the public that a copy of the proposed Appropriation Ordinance for fiscal year May 1, 1980 thru April 30, 1981, was available for public inspec- tion at the City Clerk's Office from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. Mondays thru Fridays and from 9 A.M. to noon on Saturdays. The notice also stated that a Public Hearing on the proposed Appropriation Ordinance would be held at 7:45 P.M. on July 7, 1980 in the City Council Chambers. No member of the public was present in the audience to comment on the Appropriation Ordinance. Attorney Narusis suggested making word changes in the Police Pension Fund column but the dollar figures were unchanged. There being no further discussion or comment, Motion by Wieser, seconded by Adams, to pass the Appropriation Ordinance for Fiscal Year 1980-1981 as presented with the wording revisions. Voting Aye: Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Adams, Schooley. Voting Nay: None. Absent: Pepping, Meurer. Motion carried. Motion by Nolan, seconded by Harker, to adjourn. Voting Aye: Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Adams, Schooley. Absent: Pepping, Meurer. Motion carried. Public Hearing adjourned at 7:55 P.M.
