MONDAY, APRIL 28, 1986 7:00 P.M.
Mayor Busse called to order a Public Hearing on the 1986-87
proposed control budget for the City of McHenry on Monday, April 28, 1986
at 7:00 P.M. in city hall. At roll call the following Aldermen were Attendance
present: Bolger, Lieder, McClatchey, Smith, Snell, Teta. Absent:
Nolan, Serritella. City staff in attendance were Supt. Batt, Attorney
Narusis, Clerk Gilpin, Park Director Merkel, Chief Joyce.

Members in the audience were Ralph and Bernice Justen, Sharon
and Bob Steele, Roger Landmeier, Chuck Riley, Mike Reid, Tony Oliver,
Eugene Dowe, LeRoy Olsen.
Mayor Busse asked if anyone in the audience wished to present
any written or oral statements at this meeting. There was no reply. He
asked the City Clerk if there were any written statements submitted to
the City Clerk's office. She replied none had been received in her
office. Mayor Busse asked the Aldermen if there were any comments.
Alderman Bolger commented that possibly next year the civil defense levy
could be eliminated because there was a substantial balance in that
fund. Mayor Busse said that money had been accumulating in that fund for
installation of a warning siren in the south and southwest sections of
the City. Bolger also commented that he did not like the consultant fees
coming out of the revenue sharing funds, however, he offered no objection
to it.
Motion by Smith, seconded by McClatchey, to adjourn.
Voting Aye: Bolger, Lieder, McClatchey,
Smith, Snell, Teta.
Voting Nay: None.
Absent: Nolan, Serritella.
Motion carried.
Public Hearing adjourned at 7:10 P.M.
