Bolger - Michael Teta - Frank Mc CI atchey - Randy Patterson The Special Meeting of the McHenry City Council was called to order by Mayor Busse on Monday, April 27, 19P7 at 9:20 P.M. at City Council Mtg, Hall. At roll call the following Aldermen were present: Bolger, Lieder, Attendance McClatchey, Nolan, Smith, Patterson, Serritella, Teta. Absent: None. Special Mtgs City staff in attendance were Supt. Batt, Attorney Narusis, Clerk Gilpin, Park Director Merkel, Chief Joyce. Motion by Lieder, seconded by Nolan, to pass ordinances increasing the Class A Liquor Licenses by two and reducing the Class F and Class G Liquor License by one each and to approve the issuance of the Ordinances following liquor licenses for the 1987-B8 fiscal year with six of the Class A Liquor Licenses to be issued upon completion of their application: Liquor Control & Licenses CLASS "A" - BEER & LIQUOR $1,000 A-1 McHenry Country Club (Clubhouse) A-2 A.K. Voting Nay: None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Nolan, secorried by Teta, to pass an ordinance (Ordinances increasing the number of standing committees from six to eight as presented. Voting Aye: Bolger, Lieder, McClatchey, Nolan, Patterson, Smith, Serritella, Teta. Voting Nay: None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Voting Aye: Bolger, Lieder, McClatchey, Nolan, Patterson, Smith, Serritella, Teta. Voting Nay: None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Appointments- Mayor Busse announced the following annual appointments: City Dept. Heads Attorney - Narusis & Narusis, Superintendent of Public Works - Fredric C. Batt, Building A Zoning Officer - John Zahor, Chief of Police - Patrick J. Joyce, Parks & Recreation Director - Peter J. Merkel. These terms are to expire April 30, 1988. Motion by Teta, seconded by Nolan, to confirm the annual appointments of the Mayor as presented. Voting Aye: Bolger, Lieder, McClatchey, Nolan, Patterson, Smith, Serritella, Teta. Voting Nay: None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Executive Motion by Smith, seconded by Lieder, to go into executive Session session at 9:37 P.M. for the purpose of discussing property acquisition and personnel. Voting Aye: Bolger, Lieder, McClatchey, Nolan, Patterson, Smith, Serritella, Teta. Voting Nay: None. Absent: None.
