The Regular Meeting of the City Council was called to order by
City
Mayor Stanek on Monday, April 20, 1981 at 8 P.M. At roll call, the following Council
Mtg.
aldermen were present: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Adams, Schooley,
Meurer. Absent: None. Also in attendance were Supt. Weber, Attorney

Motion by Schooley, seconded by Adams, to accept the minutes of the
April 6, 1981 Regular Meeting as read.

Motion carried.
Motion by Harker, seconded by Meurer, to pass an ordinance adopting

Motion by Nolan, seconded by Pepping, to approve the Mayor's appoint -
Audit ment of Lester, Witte & Company to prepare the City of McHenry's 1980-81 Fiscal
Year Audit.
Voting Aye: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Adams, Schooley,
Meurer.
Voting Nay: None.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.
Bid Opening Chairman Meurer of thePurchasing Committee reported on the bid opening
Authorization
for installation of underground fuel tanks and pumps at the city garage.
Motion by Meurer, seconded by Harker, to concur with the recommendation
P.W. ,pf the Purchasing Committee and award the bid for installation of the tanks
(Purchases)
and pumps to the low bidder, Jack's Maintenance of McHenry, at the bid price
of $14,730.00 for complete installation including underground electrical work.
Voting Aye: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Adams, Schooley,
Meurer.

Motion by Schooley, seconded by Adams, to accept the McHenry City
Election Electoral Board's report on the Canvass of the Consolidated General Election
