MONDAY, MARCH 21, 1983 8:00 P.M.
Mayor Stanek called to order the Regular Meeting of the City Council Council
on Monday, March 21, 1983 at 8:05 P.M. in city hall. At roll call the follow- Meeting
ing aldermen were present: Pepping, Nolan, Busse, Datz, Gelwicks, Smith,
Serritella, Meurer. Absent: None. City staff in attendance were Supt. Attendanc
Halvensleben, Attorney Narusis, Clerk Gilpin, Chief Pasenelli, Park Director
Merkel.
Motion by Nolan, seconded by Serritella, to accept the minutes of
the March 7, 1983 Regular Meeting and the minutes of the Public Hearing and
Special Meeting on March 2, 1983 as presented.
Voting Aye: Pepping, Nolan, Busse, Datz, Gelwicks, Smith,
Serritella, Meurer.
Voting Nay: None.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Gelwicks, to concur with the recommenda-
tion of the Zoning Board and grant a "B-1" zoning for the Conway -Wieser Ordinanc
property at 409 N. Front St., McHenry. Zoning
Voting Aye: Pepping, Busse, Datz, Gelwicks, Smith, Serritella,
Meurer.
Voting Nay: Nolan.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Busse, to concurwith the recommendation
of the Zoning Board of Appeals and deny the request of Hillcrest Inc. for re-
duction of parking spaces for their apartment complex on the southeast corner of
McCullom Lake Road and Orleans Street.

Motion by Pepping, seconded by Nolan, to grant the petition of Ordinance
Hillcrest Inc. to reduce the number of parking spaces required per apart- Zoning
ment unit from 2 to 1.5 contingent upon the following condition: That at
anytime the City deems it necessary, additional parking will be installed
to bring the number of required spaces per unit back up to 2.

payment of payment request No. 2 for the Bull Valley Road Watermain and
Sanitary Sewer Extension to E.M. Melahn Construction Co. Inc. in the amount
of $128,994.30 as recommended by Baxter & Woodman.
