Stanek on Monday, March 2, 1981 at 8 P.M. At roll call the following aldermen were present: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Adams, Schooley. Absent: Attendances Meurer. Also in attendance were Supt. Weber, Attorney Narusis, Clerk Gilpin, Chief Pasenelli, Park Director Merkel. Motion by Adams, seconded by Schooley, to accept the minutes of the February 12, 1981 Committee Meeting of the Whole, February 18, 1981 Public Hearing on Revenue Sharing Allocations and the February 18, 1981 Regular Meeting as read. Voting Aye: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Adams, Schooley. Voting Nay: None. Absent: Meurer. Motion carried. Motion by Nolan, seconded by Harker, to accept the recommendation of Revenue the Finance Committee and allocate Revenue Sharing Funds for Entitlement Period Sharing 12 and two quarters of Entitlement Period 13 in the amount of $207,144.00 as follows: Street Sweeper $58,056; Rescue Squad $5,000; Boone Creek $45,000; Mosquito Abatement $25,000; Water/Sewer $15,000; Gas Tanks $15,000; Squad Cars $20,000; Traffic Relief $24,088. Voting Aye: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Adams, Schooley. Voting Nay: Wieser. Absent: Meurer. Motion carried. Motion by Harker, seconded by Nolan, to grant permission to have Signes directional signs for St. Paul's Episcopalian Church installed on city street sign posts with signs to be furnished by the church and installed by the city at the following corners: Elm & Green, St. Paul's and Green and Bull Valley and Route 31. Voting Aye: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Adams, Schooley, Wieser. Voting Nay: None. Absent: Meurer. Motion carried. Monday, March 2, 1981 Page 2 Tim Fuerry of the Northern Illinois Special Recreational Association appeared to answer questions of the Council regarding the possibility of the Taxes city contributing toward the association. The concensus was not to levy a tax at this time. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Adams, to grant permission for the hot dog business at the corner of Crystal Lake Road and Elm Street to establish an en- trance off Elm Street and to permit an ingress and egress driveway off Crystal Lake Road which should be moved to the extreme southwest corner of the property Buildina with an additional requirement that a hard surface walk area be provided on the Elm Street frontage. Voting Aye: Pepping, Harker, Adams, Schooley. Voting Nay: Nolan, Wieser, Datz. Absent: Meurer. Motion carried. Mayor Stanek called for a recess at 8:58 P.M. The meeting reconvened at 9:15 with everyone still in attendance. Motion by Wieser, seconded by Harker, to authorize and approve payment of the bills as presented with the exception of the A. J. Voting Nay: None. Absent: Meurer. Motion carried. Motion by Schooley, seconded by Adams, to accept the January Clerk's report as presented. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Nolan, to accept the low bid of Mitchell Buick for a 1981 '-2 ton Pickup Truck with trade-in at the bid price of $6,045.00.
