FEBRUARY 5, 1990 7:00 P.M.
MCHENRY JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA
In attendance: Mayor Busse; City Clerk Gilpin, Aldermen Bolger,
Donahue, Patterson, Lieder. Others present: Recreation Supervisor Cindy
Owens, Park Director Pete Merkel, Ann Sommers, and Lynn Morris and Dr.
Bannon of Northern Illinois University.
Dr. Bannon announced that the purpose of the meeting was to
receive input from the Council as to what questions should be asked by
the consulting firm which is conducting an attitude and interest study of
area residents. Dr. Bannon said they know some of the questions that
they want to ask but especially wanted specific information from the
Aldermen as to what exactly are the issues that should be identified in
the City of McHenry. He had a list of questions from previous meetings
held with the Youth Commission and staff members held earlier in the
day.
At the conclusion of the meeting Dr. Bannon said he would draft
a list of questions which would be presented to the Council for review.
The Council would then chose the question they specifically wanted to be
answered in the Attitude and Interest Study.
Meeting adjourned at 8:05 P.M.
