MONDAY, JANUARY 5, 1981 8 P.M.
The Regular Meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor
Stanek on Monday, January 5, 1981 at 8 P.M. At roll call, the following alder-
men were present: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Schooley, Meurer. Council Mtg
Absent: Adams. Also present were Supt. Weber, Clerk Gilpin, Chief Pasenelli Attendance
and Park Director Merkel.
Motion by Nolan, seconded by Datz, to accept the minutes of the
December 29, 1980 Regular Meeting as read.
Voting Aye: Pepping, Nolan, Harker, Datz, Wieser, Schooley, Meurer.
Voting Nay: None.
Absent: Adams.
Motion carried.
Principal William Dodds of East Campus High School addressed the
Council and extended an invitation to the aldermen to attend rededication

ceremonies at East Campus on Sunday, January 18, 1981 at 3 P.M.
Motion by Wieser, seconded by Meurer, to pass a Resolution scheduling
Council Meetings for the 1981 calendar year. Resolutions

Voting Nay: None.
Absent: Adams.
Motion carried.

Mayor Stanek authorized the Public Property Committee to make an

on -site review of the Evans property at 4104 W. Bull Valley Road regarding zoning
possible zoning violations and report back to the council at the next meeting.
Mayor Stanek read a letter of commendation from Under Sherriff
Employees
LaMagdeleine for four McHenry Police Officers, Sergeant Gregory Burg, Detective commen-
dations
Gary Wigman, and Patrolmen Thomas Beyer and William Zujewski who assisted
McHenry County Sherriff's Police in the apprehension of burglars outside city
limits. The letter will be made a part of the permanent personnel file of
each officer.
Motion by Wieser, seconded by Schooley, to adjourn.
