BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS as follows: SECTION 1: That a tax for the following sums of money, or as much thereof as may be authorized by law to defray all expenses and liabilities of the City of McHenry, be and the same are hereby levied for the purposes specified against all taxable property in the City of McHenry for the year 2024 in the respective sums as follow, to-wit: Article I General Fund Levv Administration Department Salaries- Regular 15,920 Overtime- Regular - SECTION 3: The Clerk of aforesaid City is hereby directed to file with the Clerk of McHenry County a duly certified copy of this ordinance. SECTION 4: The Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form (which publication is hereby authorized), as provided by law.
