TRAFFIC

io WHEREAS, a survey and study of traffic flow conditions

�� on the hereina,fter na.med streets in McHenry have established that `

;� serious hazards have resulted from an increased flow of traffic, �

� coupled with unregulated parking of commerical vehicles; and j

;` �WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary in the interests of
'' public safety and welfare to effect regulations to control traffic !

� conditions by parking restrictions on the thoroughfares as herein- �

`� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the
� Cit Council of the Cit
Y y of McHenry that Article 5, Chapter 18
of the Municipal Code of the C�ty of McHenry, be and hereby is i
� amended by addin thereto the followin :

� 472 A - Truck Parking Regulations. ) It shall be
unlawful for any vehicle of the Second Class, as
defined in Paragraph 425, Article 1 of Chapter 18 �
� of the Municipal Code, which shall carr �
! y, or be
I required to carry a State of Illinois license classi-
� fication of "C" or over, to park, or to load or
� unload, on those portions of the public streets of �
`. �i the City of McHenry as are hereinafter set forth I
j and described on any day between the hours of
'� 11:00 a. m. and 12:00 midnight.

�� Main Street, from the easterly line of the Chicago &
�� Northwestern Railroad property to the westerly j
!' line of Front Street.
� Green Street, from the southerly line of Elm 5treet �
� to the northerly line of the Green 5treet Brid�e. j
!
1 Riverside Drive, from the northerly line of Elm Street i
to the southerly line of Pearl Street.
IAll violations of the provisions of this section of the Municipal Code
� shall be sub'ect to the
� � penalties as provided for in Chapter 18 of
