�+VHEREAS, it is the duty of the City Council tp protect ti:e
health and welfare of the citizens of the City of McHenry by
properly re�ulatinn and controlli.n; animais ��rithin the ci.ty lirnits ,

municipal dog pound and the f ee char;ed for the empouncii�^� of

iy0��i, THERErORE, be it ordained by the Cit;� Council of' ti�e
City of McHenry, P�ZcHenry County, Illinois that Paragraph 2 c�f
Section 412 , Article 2 of ChaNter 16 of t.ie n:�iunicibal Code s?�ayl
be amended as follows :
"Any person see'<.irl_; to redee;:� ar_y e.;,pounued animal
shall pay a fee of Tv:o ( 2.00) Dollars and an adcai. -
tional fee of One (�1 .Q0� Dollar for each day dur•inJ
ti��hich such animal has been held in the pound .

� ;�,11 ordinances or ar.y part thereof in conflict here��rith
are hereby repealed insofar as theyconflict u�ith the provisions af
this ordinance .
