� Ordinance amending Para�raph 289, Article 4 of Chapter 12
� of the Muni cipal Code of the Ci ty of McHenry. �

1 �iHEREAS , The Ci ty Counci 1 of the Ci ty of McHenry had duly �

� considered the advisability of amendin� Paragraph 289 , Article � �
iof the Municipal Code of the City of McHenry to be in conformity �
�, f with the municipalities of areas surrounding the City of I�IcHenry, �
i and ;

V'dHEREAS , the City Council is empowered to make such change
and effect such amendments as are deemed fit and proper in such
i
� cases:

� T NO�N , THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the �

`i City of ,�cHenry, I�cHenry County, Illinois that Paragraph 289 of
! Article 4 , Cha ter 12 of the b4unici al Code of the Cit of McHenr �

shall be , and is amended as follows :

� Paragraph 289, Closin� Hours , "It shall be unlawful tosellf

� i or offer for sale , at retail , any alcoholic liquor bet�neen the hour
ji of 1 A. M. and 6 A. M. on ➢�Zonday , Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and

�; Friday. It sha11 be unlawful to sell or offer for �ale , at retail
;; any alcoholic liquor between the hours of 2 A. M. or 6 A. M. on
�I Saturdays. It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for gale , at �
i
�� retail , any alcoholic liquor between the hours of 2 T�. M. and noonj

on Sundays . �
� All ordinances or any part thereof in conflict herewith �
I;! �
i are hereby repealed insofar as to conf1ict with the provisions of �

� this amendment.
