BE IT ORDAIDJED by the City Council of the City of RgeHenry, McHenry
County, lllinois, as follows, to-trit:
SECTIOD; I. That Section 27b of Article 1�, Chapter 12 of the
l�lunicipal Code of the City of PdcHenry be� and the same is hereby amen�ed to
read as follo�vs s
(1) CLASS d1 LIC�15E - I� yhall suthorize the
retail sale on the premises of alcoholic
l.iquor for consur�ption on the premiess
�. as vaell as other retail sales of such
liquor. Annual fee for such license
sh�ll be $500.00.
(2) CLASS B LICII�TSE * �phich shall authorize
the retail sale of bottled �eer in res-
taurants, r�hen purchased writh food only
for consumption on t�e premises tahere sold.
The annual fee for such lieenses shall be
$100.00.
(3) CI.ASS C LIC�.SE - which s�all authorize the
retail sele of alcoholic liquor in packages
only, by a licensed pharMacist, but not for
consumption on the r�remises �.vhere it is sold.
�l�he annu�l fee for such licenses shall be the
su� of $175.00.
(1�) CIASS D LICEi�E - rrhich s aIl authorize the
retail sale of beer for consumption on the
premises where it is scld, in dance hall or dance
�. pavilions only, and only during those hours v�hen
dances are being conducted in dance halls or danee
pavilions. The annual fee for such licensss shall
be the sum of $215.00.
�ECTION II That Section 277, Article !�� Chapter 1^c of the Municipal
Code of the City of McHenry be and the same is hereby amended to read as followss
"There shall be no more than 18 Class A, 6 Class B, 1
Class C and 1 Class D licenses in force in the Ci.ty
at any time" .
S.F7CTION III All Grdiaances heretofore pas�ed in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION IV. This Ordina�ce shall take effect from and after the beginning
of the fiscal year on I�Zay lst, 1946.
