I; AN AMENDMENT
TO ARTICLE IV OF CHAPTER 12 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
' OF THE CIT Y OF MC HENR Y
WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interests of the
City of McHenry and
WHEREAS, it is the opinio.n of the liquor commis sioner
that regulation and control of certain types of alcoholic beverages be
restricted and confined as are set forth hereinafter.
NOW, THEREFORE
� BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
McHenry, Illinois, that Article IV of Chapter 12 of the Municipal Code
of the City of McHenry be amended by deleting therefrom sub-paragraph
(3) of paragraph "276 classification" in its entirety and by inserting
!' therein the following "276 classification - fees. "

(3) CLASS C LICENSE - which shall authorize the sale '
' at retail of alcoholic liquor in packages only by a licensed pharmacist,
but not for consumption on the premises where it is sold. For the
a� purposes of this class of license distribution, beers, ales, stout, porter,�
�� or other fermented malt brews, shall not be included as a packaged
d �' alcoholic liquor and the sale of packaged beers, ales, stout, porter, �
!i or other fermented malt brews, is specifically prohibited hereby. The '
annual fees for such license shall be in the sum of One Hundred Sevent - �
Five ($175. 00) Dollars. y
