BE IT ORaAII�D by the City Council of the City of McHenry, N�cHenr�
Countq, Illinois, as follows, to-wit:
SECTION I. �at paragraph 251 oP Article II of the B�.inicipal Code
of the City of DdeHenry be, and the same ia hereby amended so that said
paxagraph 251 shall read as follows, to-wit:
It shall be nnlawf'ul to use or permit the use of any vehicle,
including wa�rons and mator vehicles and vehicles propelied by
human power, for the storage or carrying of ineat, poultry, fish,
butter, chesse, lard, vegetables, bread or bakery products, or
any other provisions intended for human cons�nption, includin�
beversges and milk, in the city for the purpose of delivering
� at�p such foodstuffs to any place in the city f'or use and con-
`"" sumption in the ci ty for such purposes,,%or for re-sale� unless rr�-�
a license for such vehicles is firat secured and the p ovisions
of this article are fully complied with.
53CTION II. �hat paragraph 252 of Article II of the Ddunicipal Code
of the City of McHenz� be, and the same is hereby amended so that said
paragraph 252 shall read as Pollows, to-wit;
Applications for such licenses shall be made to the Cit� Clerk,
and shall recite the name and address of the owner of the vehicle,
the narae or names of the persons from whom such deliveri es are
made, and the nature of the goods carried. The clerk sha11 issue
such licenses and sball give to the Healtn Officer a list of all
such licenses issued. The annual fee for such vehicles shall be
�� '`` Fifteen (�15.00) Dollars for each fiscal year. t �e license fee
� J from the effective date of this Ordinance until the be�inning ?
of the fiscal year on biay 1, 1940, shall be Five (�5.00) nollars.

SECTION III. All ordinances heretofore passed in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed. The invalidity of any part of this Ordinance shall not
ePfect such parts of this Ordinance as shall be otherwise valid.
SECTIQN IY. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication according to Law.
