County, Illinois, as follows, to-wi.t:
S�'CTIQN I. That paragraph 251 of A�ticle II of the b.^tinicipal Code
of the City of �cHenry be, and the same is hereby amended so that said
paragraph 251 sh all r ead as Sol lows, to-wi t;
It shall be nnlawful to use or permit the use of any vehicle,
including wagons and motor vehicles and nehicles propelled by
human power, f'or the storage or carrying of ineat, poultry,
fish, butter, cheese, lard, vegetables, bread or bakery products, ,
or anS- other provisions intended for human consumption, including
bevera�es and milk, in the city for the purpose of delivering
any auch f'oodstuffs to any place in the city for use and con-
sumption in the city for such purpoaes, unless a license for
�- such vehicles is first secured and the provisiona of this
article are fully complied with.
ST�CTI�N II. That paragraph 252 of A,rticle II of the �2unicipal Code
of the City of McHenry be, snd the same is hereby arr,ended so that said
paxagraph 252 shall read as �ollows, to-t�it;
Applications for such licenses shall be made to the City Clerk,
and shall recite the name and address of the owner of' the vehicle,
ths name or nam9s of tho persans from �3�0� such deliveries are
made, and the nature of the �oods c�rried. ��"he clerk shall iss�e
such licenses and shall give to the Health Officer a list of all
such licenses issued. The annual fee for such vehicles shall be
T�enty-fine (;jp25.00) Dollars for each fiscal year.
3PCTION III. Al2 ordinances heretofore passed in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed. The invalidity of any part of this Ordinance shall not
�- effect such parts of thi s Ordinance as sha12 be otherwi se valid.
S�CTIaN IV. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after ita passage,
approval and publication according to law.
