D. 1904, there was granted, by said Village of llvIcHenry, to Steven Reynolds, D. C. Doe and W. D. Ball, their heirs, successors, assigns or lesees the right to construct and operate an Electric Light Plant, in the said Village of hlcNenry, for the purposes specified in .said Ordinance, ZF�ith the right to erect masts, poles, standards, v:ires, lamps and other necess- ary appliances, fixtures and apparatus on the high rays, streets and alleys of said Village, as provided in a certain Ordinance, ofsaid Village, of that date, and I;HEREAS, The I�.cllenrjr Light, Ile at �'� Poz=rer Company has -T- b i heretofore, under the rights and. privileges granted by said Ordinance, been operating an Electric Light Plant and main- taining masts, poles, standards, wires, lamps and other necess- ary appliances, fixtures and apparatus on the hightiays, streets and alleys of said Village, in connoction Frith the use and operating of said Electric Light Plant, and Itd`HERE�S, The said Li'lectric l.,i-ht Plant has for a period of more than Thirty days failed to furnish to the inhabitants, of said Village, or to the streets, ha_gh�rays, alleys and other public places, in said Vil_la�e, any light, vFhatever, and ti'dHEREAS, The failure to run and operate said Electric Light Plant is not chargable to any unavoidable or inevitable accident but such failure is in all things contrary to the Ordinance hereinbefore referred to and 'E'1HERE�S, There has been other and many repeated viola - Lions of the said Ordinance, by the said 1,11'cHenry Light, Heat e� Power Companv, and many and. different failures on the part of said ivlcHenry,Light, Heat Power Company to observe and comply with the terns and provisions of the said Crd_inance. TfiEREFORE, Be it_ordained bar the President and Board of Trustees, of said Village of l,icH.enry, County of �.LcHenry and State of Illinois, as follows, to-cvit:- Sec. 1, That an Ordinance of said Village, passed Octob- er 8th, A. D. 1�?Onr and. published October 13th, �1. D. 1904, granting to StephenRejjnolds, of said Village and to D. C. Doe and Yid. D. Ball, of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, and. to their heirs, successors, assigns or lessees or either of there the right to erect, construct and operate an Electric Light Plant, in the said Village of I:cHenry, for the purpose of lighting the streets, highciays, allejjs, parks and other public places, in said Village, and for distributing electricity for lighting and other power and purposes, within or adjacent to the said pillage, and to erect masts, poles, standards, wires, lamps and all necessary appliances, fixtures and other appara- tus on the hight�ays, streets and alleys of said Village, necess- ary to carry out and conduct and distribute such electricity; be and the said Ordinance hereby is repealed and all of the rights and privileges thereb�i granted, are hereby cancelled, revolted and annuled.
