Be it ordained by the City Council of the
City of T:ZcHenry, County of McHenry, and atate of Illinois,
that:
'section 1: It sh"11 be unlawful for any person or
persons while operating any vehicle, motor vehicle
or transportation over and along the streets of
the city of UcHenry,. to ma:�e what is commonly
known as a "U-turn",'at the intersection of Green
and Elm Streets, that it, it shall be unlawful
for any person or persons entering upon said
intersection to maj:e two left hand turns in such
a manner as to return to the place of entering
upon said intersection; and that neither a "U-turn"
or a complete turn shall. be lawful at said intersection.
Section N: That the city of L11clienry having established
a traffic "Stop and Go* sign at the intersection cf
Green and Elm Streets it shall be unlawful for any
person or persons operating, any vehicle or motor
iaehicle or bicycle upon or along the streets of the c'ty
of TicHenry to cross or enter upon the said intersection
of Green and Elm Streets unti.ltne said " 3top and Go "-
traffic post is showing the si;;n "Go." _`_nd no such per-
son or persons shall enter upon or cross said intersection
when the 3aaid traffic post snows the sign "Stop"- against
them; I-nd every such person or pers,ns shall heep to the
rik;ht of said traffic post in crossing said intersection
or in turning from. one street to another at said inter-
section.
S'ection 3: That any person or persons operating any vehicle,
motor vehicle, bicycle or other vehicle upon or along the
streets of the city of UcHenry, shall beep to the right
of all "nushroom'l lights installed in the pavement at
the intersection of certain streets in said. city, whether
crossin-, any such intersection or making a turn at any inter-
section where such "tiushroom" light is located.
Section a: That t',,.e ponalty for violating any of the above
provisions of this ordinance shall be a fine of not less
than rive ("5.00) Dollars or more than Twenty-five (."2b.00)
Dollars.
Section 5: That this ordinance shall be in full force -and
effect .ten days wfter its passage, approval and publication,
