Be it ordained 1ay the City Council of the City of P�c"enry,
County of 1�cHenry and State of Illinois, That:
Section 1. Any person, persons or corporati�rn owning prop-
erty in the City of I�cHenry which does not Tay e�ithin sewer
�a
district in said City of I�c�ienry, before connectin� eoith said
system of see►a�;e shall apply to the City Clerk to so connect .
Section 2. That no permits shall be issued allowing any
person, persons or corporatian owning any property which does not
la.y within sewer district in said City of McFienry to connect
. any such Tand or proberty with the system of sewage excrepting

that said person, persons or corporation shall pay to the
City Clerk a.t the time of arnlicsation for per�it is fiTed the
sum of Fffty Dollars (�$50.00) and that upon application being
approved permit be issued to such person, persons or corpor-
ation allowing them to so connect.
SectiQn 3. That such person, persons or corporation so
connecting to said system cf sev�erage shall use the greatest
amount of care in makin� such excav�tion so that no danger be
catxsed to the traveling publfc, and that in the event of any
accident or dffmage said person, persons or corporation shall
be liable for the same; that said connection under suah per-
mit and alI Pxpenses attendin� the same sha1Z be fully paid
�`� for by the person, perse►ne or corporation receiving permit
to make the same.
Section 4. That if any of thP �,bove sectians of this
'�-- ordinance be violated it ahall sub�ject the offender to
a fine of not less th�n Fifty Dol].ars (,��.50. 00) nor more
than Two Hundred ;�olTars (�200.00) .
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in f ull force
�nd effec�t from� and after ten (10) daqs after its passa�e,
approval and �ublication according to la�e.
