Be it ordained by the city council of the City of
�icHenry, County of ��cHPnry and State of Illinois, that:
aection 1. That each and every owner of an�r lot,
block or tract of land within the city of �4eHenry and
fronting upon the system af sanitary sewer now in e�€-
i�tenc� in said city or fronting upon anp extensfor�
thereof, shall connect the said system of sewage with
the lot , block or tract of land so owned by him, said
connection shall run from the main tile frnnting said
pronert��, and shall extend to at least the lot Iine of
sa.id property, and every such connection shall be made
at a date not ].ater than the First day of I�iay, A.D.1926.
�'' �ection 2. That an� person, persons, or corporation
being thP otvner of any lot , block or tract of Iand,
fronting on any line of the eaisting system Qf sewera�e
or any extension thereof who has not connected the same
to a point at least to the lot line of said lot, block
or traet of la�ld on or before the aaid Fir�� day of
P1Iay, A.D.1926, shall be subject to a fine to be paid to
said City of McHenry in an amount not less than Ten
Dollars nor more than Teventy-f ive Dollars f or each and
every violation hereof, gnd it shall be considered that
each and every day past the said final date of l�at First , A.D .
1926, shall be considered a separate and distinct offense.
, � Section 3. That this ordinance sha11 be in full force
and effect from and after ter days aftnr tis �assage, approval
