An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 20
BE.IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Me -
Henry, Illinois,
SECTION I. That after the passage
and.taking effect of this ordinauce Sec-
tion 12 of Ordinance No. 20 be and the
same is hereby amended so as to real as
follows:
The following rites shall be charged
for a consumption of water:
5000 gallons or under, per quarter, 25c per 1000
Over 5.000 and under 10,000, per qr, 22c per 1000
Over 10,000 and under 20.000. pr qr, 20c per 1000
Over 20,000 and under 40,000, in, qr, 18e per 1000
Over 40,000 and under 60,000, pr qr, 10c per 1000
Over 60,0011 and under 100,000 pr qr, 14c per 1000
100.000 and over ... .................12% per 1000
In no case will a charge of leas than
one dollar ($1.00) per quarter be made
by the Village to consumers of water.
All water rates, rents or taxes shall be
charged to the owner of the premise's on
which the service is located, and all
water rates or rents not paid within
thirty days after the close of each quar-
ter shall be placed in the hams i f the
superintendent of water woiks for col-
lection, who shall immediately proceed
to collect the same and to shut off the
supply if payment be not made at once,
and he shall not again turn on the supply
before all arrearages are paid in full
All special rates are hereby repealed,
SECTION II. - Thief ordinancd shall be
in force and effect on and after Febru-
ary 1, 1906.
