STREET A5 AN HONORARY STREET ENTITLED HONORARY SPC. COLLIER E.
BAR�US WAY IN THE CITY O�F 1WICHENR�',MCHENRY COIINTY, ILLINOIS
WHER.EAS,the City Council has established the Honorary Street Sign Policy anci
Program to honor individuals vvho have contributed significantly to the City of McHenry through
cultural,historical or humanitarian acts; and
WI�REAS, the City Council has considered the evidence and recommendation from the 1Vlayor
and finds that the approvaI of the application, for the honorary street designation. for the corner John
Street anc�Green Street,is consistent with the criteria set forth in the Honorary Street Sign Po�icy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TI� CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF
MCHENRY,MCHENRY COUNTY,II,LINQIS,AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Tnat the comer of John Street and Green Street be granted the honorary slreet.
designation of"Honorary Spc.Coilier E.Bar�us Way".
SEC'T'ION 2: That an honorary street sign entitled, "Honorary Spa Collier E. Barcus Way",
shall be posted at t�e intersection of John Street and Green Street.
SECTION 3: That this Resolurion shall be in full force and effect from. and after the date of its
passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
