A RESOLUTION DESIGNATIN� THAT PORTIOIV OF ELM STREET(ILLINOIS

ROIJTE 31)AS A;N FT4NORARY STREET E1�TTITLED BAUR AVENUE IN THE CITY
OF MCHENRY,MCHENRY COUN'I'�,ILI,INOIS
VVHEREAS, the City Council has established the Honorary Street Sign Policy and
Prograrn to honar individuals who have contributed significantly to the City of 1VIcHenry through
cultural,historical or humanitarian acts; and
WHEREAS, �he City Council has considered the evidence and recommendatian from the
Mayor and finds that the approval of application for the honorary street designation of Baur
Avenue on Elm Street, bet�veen Front Street and Richmonc� Road, is consistent with the criteria
set farth in the Honorary Street Sign Policy.
NOW, TFiEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE CTI'�' COUNCII, OF THE CITY
OF MCHENRY,IVICHENRY COUNTY, ILLIl�TOIS,AS FOLL4WS:
� SECTION l: That the section of Elm Street, between Front Street and Kichmond Road
be granted the honorary street desigtration of Baur Avenue.
SECTION 2: That an honorary street sign entitled, Baur Avenue, shall be posted at the
intersection of Front Street and Elm Street.
SECT�ON 3: That tIus Resolution shall be in full fo�ce and effect from and after the date
of its pa:ssage and approval in the manner provided by law.
