Special Meeting Minutes
October 26, 2023
Call to Order
The City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, met in a special session on Thursday, October
26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at McHenry City Hall, 333 S. Green Street, McHenry, IL.
Roll Call
Mayor Wayne Jett called the roll. Roll call: Members present: Alderman Santi, Alderman Glab,
Alderman McClatchey, Alderwoman Bassi, Alderman Strach, Alderman Koch, Alderwoman Miller,
and Mayor Jett. Others present: Mark Peterson of GovHR and City Attorney David McArdle.
Public Comment
There were no members of the public present to offer public comment.
Executive Session
A motion was made by Alderman Santi and seconded by Alderman Strach to adjourn to
executive session at 2:01 p.m. to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation,
discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1).). Roll Call: Vote:
7-ayes: Alderman Santi, Alderman McClatchey, Alderman Glab, Alderwoman Miller, Alderwoman
Bassi, Alderman Koch, Alderman Strach. 0-nays, 0-abstained. Motion carried.
Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned from executive session at 8:18 p.m. and did not return into regular
session.
