HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 11/27/1984 - Employee Appreciation Committee Employee Appreciation Committee Meeting
Tuesday, November 27 2:00 P.M. City Hall
Meeting called to order at 2:05 P.M.
Members present: Chairman Bill Bolger, members Liz Nolan, Dolores
Rogers, Barb Gilpin, Anne Rodenkirch, Tony Freund, Dawn Ferguson, Jim
Wiser, and Pat Joyce. Members absent: Gene Hester, Ceil Serritella,
Frank McClatchey, and Gary Snell .
The first item on the agenda was a discussion on going to an "open
bar" during the cocktail hour from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. It was the decision
of the committee to have an open bar since public financial support
appears to be very good.
It was the consensus of the committee that we should treat the high
school singers to a coke after their performance.
It was agreed that we would have a program printed up and mailed
along with a letter to each employee's home.
Barb Gilpin reported that her office had already received 51
positive responses to the party invitation. This certainly is
encouraging news.
Pat Joyce asked if we could hold the buffet table open so that the
men he has on patrol could come and join us a bit later. Bill Bolger and
Liz Nolan assured Pat that they would fialk to the chief to make sure this
accommodation is met.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:26 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
.
