CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF MCHENRY , ILLINOIS
A hearing on the above-captioned petition was held on January 25 ,
1993 . Chairman Semrow called the hearing to order at 7 : 35 p .m .

NOTICE OF PUBLICATION
Notice was published in the Northwest Herald on January 8 , 1993
� and the Publisher ' s Certificate of Publication is on file in the
City Clerk ' s office . An Affidavit certifying that all abutting
property owners of record were notified of tonight ' s proceedings
is on file in the City Clerk ' s office . An Affidavit of beneficial
ownership of the trust is on file in the City Clerk ' s office .
LOCATION OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY
The subject property is located at 3701 West Waukegan Road , McHenry
Illinois 60050 ; it is comprised of approximately 14 ,068 . 5 square
feet .
SUMMARY
The Petitioner is requesting that the subject property be
reclassified from RA-1 Attached Residential to RM- 1 Low Density
Multi -Family Residential Zoning District , with a use variance to
permit a church office facility on the ground floor .
TESTIMONY
John 0 ' Leary who resides at 3705 W. Waukegan Road , McHenry , and is
an abutting property owner to the subject premises , informed th�
chairman that he and his wife did not receive written notification
of tonight ' s proceedings . Mr . 0 ' Leary agreed to waive his right
to notification ; however , Mrs . 0 ' Leary was not present and would
not waive her right to be notified of this hearing .
Due to the fact that notification to ALL abutting property owners
`--- was NOT made prior to this hearing , this hearing was recessed until
such time u►hen notification could be made to all abutting property
owners .
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Christensen , seconded by Dixon to recess this hearing to
Monday , February 15 , 1993 at 7 : 30 p .m . in the Council ChambPrs of
the Municipal Center .
Voting Aye : Adamson , Christensen , Dixon , Kleemann , Semrow ,
Tobeck .
Voting Nay : None .
Not Voting : None .
Abstaining : None .
Absent : Swierk .
Motion carried 6-0 .
