Members Pz•esent : Frank McClatchey, Chairman, Bill Bolger, Steven
Murgatroyd
Other Present : City Planner Phil Maggio, City Administrator
Lobaito, Plan Commission Chairperson Vicki Shephard, Land
Planning Services representative, Walter Magdziarz and Planning
Resources, Inc . representatives; Pamela Richart, Pete Pointer and
Gary Overbay.
Chairman McClatchey called the meeting to order at 5 : 05 p.m.
Chairman McClatchey stated the purpose of the committee meeting
was to conduct interviews with selected land planning
consultants . One firm will be recommended to full council to
assist the City of McHenry update the current Comprehensive Plan.
Motion by Murgatroyd, seconded by Bolger, to go into Executive
Session to conduct personal interviews with representatives of
Land Planning Services of St . Charles, Illinois and Planning
Resources, Inc . of Wheaton, Illinois at 5 : 08 p.m.
Voting Aye : Bolger, McClatchey, Murgatroyd

Absent : None
Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Murgatroyd to go back into Open
Session at 7 : 00 p.m.
Voting Aye : Bolger, McClatchey, Murgatroyd
Voting Nay: None
Absent : None
Motion carried.
Some discussion followed regarding the two planning firms . City
Administrator Lobaito reminded the committee of the next set of
interviews scheduled for Thursday, November 20th beginning at
5 : 00 p.m.
The meeting was adjourned at 7 : 11 p.m.
