SENTE&RUBEL LTD. THE SENTE & RUBEL LTD. APPROACH After years of working with park and forest preserve district agencies,S&R has been able to determine the unique needs of ourecreationai clientele. To us,the ability to work with muitiple decision makers, (district commissioners, director, staff, and the communiry) is a significant factor, along with the understanding that a successful public project is always the result of both the architecYs and clients' ' input. A design characteristic of a given community is created with this input. ' Our recreational and public clients have expressed the following as seven reasons why they selected , S&R for architectural and construction services. , 1. CONFIDENCE IN OUR PARTNERS - "Sente & Rubel's biggest strength is Ted and Joe. I fee/very comfortable in p/acing my project in their hands.' (Robert Kunkel, Bensenville Park ' District) 2. REQUEST FOR CLIENT INVOLVEMENT - We ask innumerable questions and we listen J carefully to the responses. We consider the commissioners', directors, superintendents', recreation and maintenance staffs', and users' needs and concerns for the building project. 3. CLEAR AND OPEN COMMUNICATION -Our project team makes sure to communicate their ideas clearly and in layman's terms, in order that all involved can make informed decisions on technical matters. j 4. INVOLVEMENT AND AVAILABILITY OF THE PRINCIPAL-The presence of the Partner in Charge at all board and staff meetings is critical. Because many such groups meet monthly, J the ability of a decision maker to review the project's progress, answer questions, discuss decisions made in client/architect/contractor meetings, establish time schedules, and make `- on-the-spot decisions is extremely important to the successful outcome of the project. 5. COMMITMENT TO PROJECT DEADLINES -Our clients enjoy always being treated with the I utmost importance, regardless of project size. S&R is known for our ability to meet tight deadlines. i I - 6. COST OF CONSTRUCTION ON TARGET WITH BUDGET-The client's budget is always in the forefront of our mind. Our last seven park agency and municipal projects were ; successfully completed within 2% of budget or considerably below budget. Getting as much I building as possible for the available funds is extremely important to S&R. 7. EXTRAORDINARY FOLLOW THROUGH -The principals view their work in terms of clients and not projects. We keep in touch even after the building is operational to see that the ' owner's typical concerns in operating a new facility are addressed and that all of the client's questions are answered. We check with our clients just prior to the 12 month guarantee period expiration to ascertain that all items that may fall under the guarantee are brought to . the contractor's attention and are always available on an "as needed" basis. -i ' - it - - . , I ' RECYCLEO PAPE; '
